Philippe Archambault, Ph.D.Philippe Archambault, PhD
Email: philippe.archambault@mcgill.ca

Dr. Archambault is an assistant professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University. His research focuses on the use of technology in rehabilitation. Dr. Archambault has initiated a project involving the design and testing of a smart robotic device, which has the ability to predict the target of arm movement in subjects with muscle weakness and also has the capability of assisting movement execution. In addition, he leads a project on the quantitative measurement of powered wheelchair driving skills. These measurements are then used for assessment and training in real and simulated environments. Dr. Archambault's research is conducted at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital.

Partners

Our partners and collaborators are and will continue to be the key to our success. Most notably, Cominar REIT, the owner of Alexis Nihon and proud partner of the Rehabilitation Living Lab project, has granted us permission in 2010 to use their mall as our living rehabilitation lab. Other partners and collaborators lend their time, knowledge and resources, which have allowed this broad project to run as smoothly as possible.
